Garbage Service Reassignment      

            Beginning Monday, May 5, 2008, Garbage pick up will go back to             

                        Mondays & Thursdays OR Tuesdays & Fridays, 

depending on where your street is located in the City. The northern part of the city has Monday/Thursday pick up and the southern has Tuesday/Friday. If you are unsure about what route you fall under, please see the map.

Bulk Waste/Heavy Haul

            Last pick up day of the month.

If you have heavy waste that requires more than one person to remove the item, for better efficiency, please contact the number listed above to if arrangements for a heavy pick up are necessary.

RECYCLING

As of March 31, 2008 your recycling collection ends.  Allied Waste was your recycling collector and if you have any inquiries for them please call                713-937-9955. The city has every intention to include recycling in the new sanitation contract going out for bid in June.
