The City of Piney Point Village would like to inform you of an important update regarding annual alarm system registrations. Effective January 1, 2026, residents will no longer register their alarm systems through the City. Instead, all alarm registrations will now be completed directly through the Memorial Villages Police Department (MVPD) website on an annual basis.

This transition is being made to consolidate records and streamline services across all Memorial Villages, ensuring a consistent and more efficient registration process for residents. Please note that there is no fee for registering your alarm.

To register, please visit the MVPD website at www.mvpdtx.org. The alarm registration form is accessible from the homepage by selecting the alarm icon labeled “City of Piney Point,” which will direct you to your V-LINC sign-in page. Enclosed with this letter are step-by-step illustrated instructions to help you easily locate and complete the online registration form.
