2027 CITY ELECTION
May 2027 General Election – Information
The City of Piney Point Village will hold its General Election on Saturday, May 1, 2027.
Positions on the ballot will be announced as the election approaches. The candidate filing period is anticipated to open in January 2027. Additional details, including candidate packets, filing requirements, and important deadlines, will be posted here when available.
The City will continue to coordinate election services with Harris County and, if applicable, may participate in a joint election with Spring Branch Independent School District.

2026 CITY ELECTION
Councilmember/Alderman Positions 3, 4 and Mayor are scheduled for the City of Piney Point ballot on May 2, 2026. Each member serves a two-year term.

Notice of Uncontested Election
- The City Council of City of Piney Point Village hereby provides notice that the May 2, 2026 General Election is declared uncontested. ORD 2026.03 Certification of Unopposed
- In accordance with the Texas Election Code, the following qualified candidates will be declared elected to office:
- Jonathan C. Curth, Mayor
- Joel A. Bender, Alderman Position 3
- Margaret Rohde, Alderman Position 4
