Notice of Uncontested Election
The City Council of City of Piney Point Village hereby provides notice that the May 2, 2026 General Election is now uncontested as of 2/20/26.
In accordance with the Texas Election Code, the following qualified candidates will be declared elected to office:

Jonathan C. Curth, Mayor

Joel A. Bender, Alderman Position 3
-
Margaret Rohde, Alderman Position 4
The City Council will take formal action to declare the candidates elected at a future meeting.
2025 CITY ELECTION
There is no General Election for council positions selected for May 2025 as they were unopposed. ORD 2025.03-A1
Councilmember/Alderman Positions 1, 2, and 5 are on the ballot for May 3, 2025. Each member serves a two-year term.
Interested candidates may file for an application for a place on the ballot with Robert Pennington or Michelle Yi, Early Voting Clerks, during regular office hours 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, from January 15 – February 14, 2025, by submitting the required forms at Piney Point Village City Hall at 7660 Woodway, Suite 460; Houston, Texas 77063. Note that this is a new location than in prior years. The deadline for candidates to file is 5:00 PM on February 14, 2025.
