2024 General Election
Councilmember/Alderman Positions 3, 4 and Mayor are scheduled for the City of Piney Point ballot on May 4, 2024. Each member serves a two-year term.
Interested candidates may file for an application for a place on the ballot with Robert Pennington or Jose Gomez, Early Voting Clerks, during regular office hours 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, from January 17 – February 16, 2024, by submitting the required forms at Piney Point Village City Hall at 7676 Woodway, Suite 300; Houston, Texas 77063. The deadline for candidates to file is 5:00 PM on February 16, 2024.
The Application for a Place on the Ballot and Appointment of a Campaign Treasurer by a Candidate are available under Candidacy Requirements. Additional information and these printed copies of the forms will be available and can be picked up at Piney Point Village City Hall.

VOTING BY MAIL
Applications for ballots by mail must be received no later than April 23, 2024 by 5:00 o'clock p.m.
To be eligible to vote by mail in Texas, one of the following criteria must apply:
- be 65 years or older;
- be sick or disabled;
- be out of the county on election day and during the early voting period; or
- be expected to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day; or
- be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible

EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS:
Piney Point Village will conduct joint elections with Spring Branch Independent School District. An early voting polling place will be located at 325 Piney Point Road. Voting will take place from April 22 to April 26, 2024, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. In addition, early voting is scheduled for April 29 and April 30, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Note that the former location at 7676 Woodway will not be available as a polling place due to ongoing improvements to the facility. NOTE: Early voting for City of Piney Point Village location is at Ecclesia, 325 Piney Point Rd., Houston, TX 77024, will be held April 22 - April 30:
